An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 14th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Lars Meesters as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Grigoris Grigoriadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov. Fernando Prassov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vieri in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Prassov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fernando Prassov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Kees Mooiweer made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. 73 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Green Hell F.C.'s Hao Bang Feng managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kees Mooiweer in the 82 minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Vieri came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkis Semertzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Christian Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Hell F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Vieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Alkis Semertzidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Green Hell F.C. throughout the match.
