Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuele Kunz started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Samuele Kunz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 12th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Erwan Tripier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geoffrey Mériguet hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Switzerland's Samuele Kunz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Saubrigues. If Guy Rambaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fridolin Neumeister hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vasko Chochkov sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Rambaud to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Maurer took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erwan Tripier. Erwan Tripier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Rambaud made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Geoffrey Mériguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saubrigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Mériguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timo Siegmund hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Hilario Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Rodrigo von Känel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erwan Tripier skillfully saved the ball. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasko Chochkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hilario Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo von Känel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Vasko Chochkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasko Chochkov in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vasko Chochkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Levi von Herren charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levi von Herren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffrey Mériguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fridolin Neumeister kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Hilario Erramun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 91 played minutes, FC Saubrigues's Geoffrey Mériguet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hias Nüssli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Saubrigues reached it. 96 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Rambaud came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Saubrigues could leave the field as winners, despite Switzerland having more of the ball for most of the match.
