Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hans-Martin Torvund got the match started through his kick off. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Tage Øye shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eilert Totland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Rock Hard FC's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eilert Totland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eilert Totland in the 18th minute. Kenneth Drange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play. Kenneth Drange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rock Hard FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot by Liu Xi Xi from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Arnout Reekers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 29th minute of play forced Rock Hard FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Drange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Rock Hard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Kenneth Drange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Drange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Drange was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Kenneth Drange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Kenneth Drange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Eilert Totland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigve Ramberg in the 53rd minute of play. Rock Hard FC's Kenneth Drange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 54th minute of play. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kenneth Drange could save by the left post. In the 68th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Hans-Martin Torvund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Tage Øye took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eilert Totland in the 76th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Kenneth Drange successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hu Xu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Sigve Ramberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Jim-André Kirkevold came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rock Hard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim-André Kirkevold couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
