Benê Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cássio Paiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Maurinho Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Maurinho Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benê Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of the match. Benê Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Tróia. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Maurinho Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurinho Tróia to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurinho Tróia in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 63 played minutes 20 DE SETEMBRO got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Antunes. Mai Yu Yang hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benê Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benê Goiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Sachs slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute, Erivaldo Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Tróia's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Silas Rocha in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Willy Stieler. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Benê Goiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. Germany were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
