The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Schneider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Fabio Schneider notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of MaviAteşSK's Köksal Sadun. Köksal Sadun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, MaviAteşSK's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Galishoff came free, but Köksal Sadun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolgahan Köker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Necmettin Şahit notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Köksal Sadun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nalder in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Marc Kronecker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaviAteşSK the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Kronecker to maneuver through the defense. Marvin Harrer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağan Oymen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. When MaviAteşSK's Necmettin Şahit in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austria's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 played minutes MaviAteşSK got a freekick which was hit by Cevher Arıtan. 77 minutes into the game, MaviAteşSK's Barış Babür nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 81 minutes, Marvin Harrer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the MaviAteşSK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Harrer. After a rather tough play, MaviAteşSK's Çağan Oymen got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmettin Şahit in the 93rd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Schneider kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Köksal Sadun. That made the score 4-2 in the 96 minute of play. MaviAteşSK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
