In the 40th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Len Ainsworth got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gerry Bibby. Damion Stride's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Steen got free with Jason Lobb in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
