Gortaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Denmark made a substitution. Flemming Bendixen replaced Chris Nygaard. In the 4th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateusz Waselenczuk to maneuver through the defense. Flemming Bendixen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigiusz Kaczynski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Flemming Bendixen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Remigiusz Kaczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Radowit Siedlecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flemming Bendixen struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Remigiusz Kaczynski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. The supporters of Denmark booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Waselenczuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bartlomiej Dlugi sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match Bartlomiej Dlugi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. Remigiusz Kaczynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flemming Bendixen in the 27th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Dlugi came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. In the 31st minute, Ziemowit Borcz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ziemowit Borcz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Franciszek Wicherek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gortaty and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Franciszek Wicherek got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ziemowit Borcz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franciszek Wicherek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gortaty's Remigiusz Kaczynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Radowit Siedlecki hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Borcz came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigiusz Kaczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franciszek Wicherek in the 71st minute of play. Gortaty's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartlomiej Dlugi in the 72nd minute. The corner ended in Bartlomiej Dlugi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. Remigiusz Kaczynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Graversen in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Flemming Bendixen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Flemming Bendixen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Kaczynski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Denmark's Flemming Bendixen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Franciszek Wicherek was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. The supporters of Denmark booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Wicherek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Ziemowit Borcz got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Bykowski. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Flemming Bendixen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigiusz Kaczynski. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigiusz Kaczynski should have stopped the shot. The Gortaty fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
