Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Gelmiro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijn Doctor. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Fernando Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Jairo Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ALIDIM FOR EVER's Herminio Gizon did a great save. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Dimas in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Pueblo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
