Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griskultingarnas FF. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natasha Sjøholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jochem Klooster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 19th minute Arman Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olívio Sjøholm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Jochem Klooster's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Griskultingarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Thor Wiberg. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Griskultingarnas FF's goalkeeper Natasha Sjøholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmy Busk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Griskultingarnas FF's Jochem Klooster in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Griskultingarnas FF booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochem Klooster in the 73rd minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Wiberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natasha Sjøholm having to make a save. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thor Wiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Natasha Sjøholm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natasha Sjøholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Griskultingarnas FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Natasha Sjøholm, was totally fooled by Germany's Frank Sachs, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The Griskultingarnas FF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Germany to win.
