Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Birkenhagen came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 14th play minute Adam Harasimowicz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 1-0. Kazimierz Birkenhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 26th minute. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Harasimowicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adam Harasimowiczs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Tanek Zbytniewski fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NDVX's protests and gave Tanek Zbytniewski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NDVX's Tanek Zbytniewski got a free kick in the 36th minute. Frank Sachs was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Birkenhagen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Kazimierz Birkenhagen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDVX the free kick. In the 46th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Du was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 55th minute Kazimierz Birkenhagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kazimierz Birkenhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Du made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 66th minute. If Kazimierz Birkenhagen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Du tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Frank Sachs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Du saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by NDVX's Kazimierz Birkenhagen. But to his dismay, Kazimierz Birkenhagen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Tomasz Tomiczek hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ulrich Stein might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Du. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrich Stein ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Harasimowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NDVX fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
