The audience thought a goal was coming when Suphi Uzhan got free with Zvezdan Nedeljkovic in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Suphi Uzhan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Asım Arif Güler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Orbay Arıkal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Rasko Nestorovski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 25 minutes into the match, Asım Arif Güler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Alpsoy in the 31st minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faik Ilıcan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suphi Uzhan in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Orbay Arıkal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Jovan Borisov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Borjan Golubovic hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Asım Arif Güler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Ozan İmran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yağızalp Alpsoy in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sreten Popovic to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borjan Golubovic to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Yağızalp Alpsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Suphi Uzhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. If Suat Umuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suphi Uzhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Asım Arif Güler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Suphi Uzhan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zvezdan Nedeljkovic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağızalp Alpsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Borjan Golubovic. Drasko Rajkovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkut Akçabay having to interfere. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suphi Uzhan in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, By Cengafer's Yağızalp Alpsoy made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Arda Ozan İmran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of By Cengafer booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jovan Borisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suphi Uzhan in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Asım Arif Güler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. By Cengafer's Suat Umuralp got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Suphi Uzhan came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Asım Arif Güler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The By Cengafer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suphi Uzhan in the 96th minute of play.
