Frank Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Independente F.C. Limeira's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Southgate came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Independente F.C. Limeira's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Robbie Southgate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Quinten during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of France booed when Independente F.C. Limeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute David Barbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Linhares got free with Maxime Durand in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Dorian Linhares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-1. Independente F.C. Limeira's Robbie Southgate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Independente F.C. Limeira getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aníbal Barral hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbie Southgate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Severo Dubardo in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Teixeira in the 53rd minute of play. Robbie Southgate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camille Baume in the 55th minute. Matheus França charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Matheus França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Independente F.C. Limeira's Robbie Southgate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Independente F.C. Limeira from getting a goal against them. Robbie Southgate came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Teixeira in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Teixeira in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 minutes, Dionisio Rik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independente F.C. Limeira and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Independente F.C. Limeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Rik to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
