Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nikolai Øvard in the 4 minute of the game. Gretchen AIS's Karl Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Chris Nygaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Salomon Burgemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jan-Olof Byström came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gretchen AIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Byström couldn't finish the play. Karl Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 17th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, Gretchen AIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomon Burgemann to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Gretchen AIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolai Øvard to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Hedman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nikolai Øvard made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Hökqvist in the 59th minute of play. Gretchen AIS's Karl Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Gretchen AIS from getting a goal against them. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Andreas Lövkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Hedman in the 66th minute of play. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Burgemann in the 71st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Gretchen AIS's goal looked a bit too open when Mikkel Wulff came free, but Karl Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Nikolai Øvard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Gretchen AIS's Olov Hedman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
