Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tocchetto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Giuseppe Basso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herberia Herons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Basso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Mian. Herberia Herons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Mian was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Herberia Herons's Diego Mian. Diego Mian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Aldo Tocchetto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Tocchetto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Herberia Herons's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Diego Mian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Tocchetto had several of the Hungary's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Fodor Daniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 44th minute of play forced Herberia Herons's goalkeeper Diego Mian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Diego Mian. Herberia Herons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 54th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Mian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Diego Mian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Tocchetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Mian having to make a save. Major Barna came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Mian could save by the left post. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tocchetto in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Basso in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Eugenio Ruggieri hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Balazs Lajos scored 2-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Mian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Armando Marchesani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herberia Herons's Alfredo Ranieri was substituted for Ercole Bizzarri. Herberia Herons made a substitution. Anthony Guidone replaced Eugenio Ruggieri. After some careless play in the Herberia Herons defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Mian. The Herberia Herons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Mian should have stopped the shot. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo De Tommasi in the 83rd minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Diego Mian made a huge save. The Hungary supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hungary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
