Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 26th minute of play. Longchamps club's Eriberto Maiorga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Longchamps club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. Clemente Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Maiorga to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Maiorga's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Maiorga came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Cleto Dayam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Juan-Alfredo Verges made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gaston Leoncio immediately put the ball in play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Maiorga in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Cleto Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Longchamps club's 彭榕威 was substituted for Cleto Dayam. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
