Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guter Tobia in the 4th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Tobia in the 6th minute of play. Guter Tobia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Guter Tobia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 13th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Guter Tobia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Pimentel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Bakar having to make a save. In the 17th minute of the game Bruno Bastos made a throw-in which Viriato Moura played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 19th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Bakar saved Aves Negras from getting behind. Guter Tobia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Guter Tobia might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guter Tobia ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guter Tobia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Guter Tobia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 36th minute of play. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Bakar. Marcial Bakar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Marten Descamps was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aves Negras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. After 41 played minutes Aves Negras got a freekick which was hit by Marten Descamps. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Aves Negras's Clarence Seedorf was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guter Tobia to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guter Tobia went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Bakar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Aves Negras from getting a goal against them. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcial Bakar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 56th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarence Seedorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Almeida made in the 63rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. 73 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Goyo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aves Negras's zone, Fabricio Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Bakar came out of the goal and Fabricio Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes of play, Aves Negras's Efrain Artal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Bakar having to make a save. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Bakar came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Pimentel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute Rodolfo Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Marcial Bakar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Aves Negras's Efrain Artal. But to his dismay, Efrain Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Aves Negras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
