Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Alexander Bird showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Alexander Bird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Alex Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Farmer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mayo's Samuel Farmer to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Bird. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Alexander Bird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Pagomari in the 29th minute. Gez Flintoff charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gez Flintoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Gez Flintoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Bird showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alexander Bird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Farmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Pagomari went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 44 minutes, Patrick Robins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Robins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Guido Pagomari sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Pagomari was the one to do the kick off. Guido Pagomari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Robins kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mayo's Alexander Bird proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mayo from getting a goal against them. The referee gave Mayo a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Farmer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. 2-0. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Pagomari in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuel Farmer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Farmer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mayo's Johnnie Osbourn was substituted for Samuel Farmer. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Bird having to interfere. Alexander Bird made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Bird narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Robins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Mayo's Evelio Goren was substituted for Patrick Robins. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Des Gill in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 84thth minute of the game Alex Burton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Des Gill's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Hungary were furious when Boros Benedek was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Mayo a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Des Gill, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. 3-0. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Gill in the 94th minute of play. Des Gill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Gill in the 99th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnnie Osbourn in the 101st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mayo had won after a very even match.
