In the 26th match minute, Guando floripa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Santana to maneuver through the defense. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Dal Bello in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Guando floripa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Vidić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard shot a long shot in the 37th minute and a light blocked Roberto De Lima hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-2. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto De Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Denmark booed when Guando floripa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto De Lima was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Marco de Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 64th minute of play forced Guando floripa F.C's goalkeeper Roberto De Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guando floripa F.C's Roberto De Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 69th minute of play. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Santana lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guando floripa F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Denmark a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chris Nygaard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guando floripa F.C's Roberto De Lima. 1-4. The Guando floripa F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
