Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oddvar Nordhus in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Skytta Toppidrettslag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lei Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute Ewan Rieu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cenap Yalaza was slow to take the kick. During this time Skytta Toppidrettslag's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Netherlands's goalie and right to Ole-Johan Larsen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Netherlands's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewan Rieu in the 80th minute of play. Ren Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play forced Skytta Toppidrettslag's goalkeeper Ren Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ren Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
