Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuele Kunz started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Jacinto Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Öztürk came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuele Kunz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Stelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Switzerland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Robert Abrahamsson scored to the left of an out of position Hias Nüssli, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Samuele Kunz hit a great ball. The supporters of Rex Scania MFF booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Rex Scania MFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batuhan Öztürk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Rex Scania MFF got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Öztürk. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bogdan Stelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Östen Lund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Timo Siegmund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Stelea skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuele Kunz got free with Bogdan Stelea in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rex Scania MFF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Batuhan Öztürk hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Rex Scania MFF got a freekick which was hit by Roland Linquist. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Stelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Samuele Kunz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th minute, Samuele Kunz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bogdan Stelea. The goal made the score 1-1. Bogdan Stelea made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jacinto Maurer sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, Switzerland failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
