Janar Taelma's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 4th minute Dariusz Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute FC Muuga United were awarded a corner. Federico Di Natale went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 7th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgo Lööper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th match minute, FC Muuga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Jerold to maneuver through the defense. In the 11thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Muuga United's Virgo Lööper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgo Lööper came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play forced FC Muuga United's goalkeeper Virgo Lööper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after FC Muuga United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Virgo Lööper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 34 played minutes FC Muuga United got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Porfirio. FC Muuga United's Virgo Lööper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Jüri Lepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgo Lööper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Janar Taelma sent off a good shot on target. When Federico Di Natale fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Muuga United's protests and gave Federico Di Natale a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes FC Muuga United got a freekick which was hit by Federico Di Natale. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Brudnicki came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Di Natale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janar Taelma, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Janar Taelma struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Muuga United. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Vahing, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. FC Muuga United's Dariusz Brudnicki got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, FC Muuga United's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Virgo Lööper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Federico Di Natale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. Netherlands played a much better game than FC Muuga United and deserved their victory. The FC Muuga United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
