Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fábio Montoia kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fonso Zotillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fonso Zotillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. Toninho Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fonso Zotillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 31 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. XV de Piracicaba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fábio Montoia's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Montoia helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Toninho Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when XV de Piracicaba's Valdir Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Severino Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Galvão in the 54th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Toninho Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Montoia in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdir Marquez went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Hungary booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fonso Zotillo having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fonso Zotillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Severino Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The XV de Piracicaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
