Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alexandru Raţiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandru Raţiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 10th minute of play forced A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Cristian Voican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when A.C. Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Radu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.C. Milan's Dorel Povară got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Voican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Voican. A.C. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Voican breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Takacs Tibor scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Voican, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Voican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cristian Voican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After 37 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Voican was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, A.C. Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Cristian Voican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of A.C. Milan's Cristian Voican. Cristian Voican was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The A.C. Milan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Raţiu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. A.C. Milan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hungary's Katona Janos to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristian Voican despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, A.C. Milan's Cristian Voican got control of the ball when Takacs Tibor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Takacs Tibor struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cristian Voican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Ferdinand Radu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Voican was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Emil Horațiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Voican. A.C. Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Takacs Tibor took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Voican. Cristian Voican dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Cristian Voican made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Takacs Tibor got free with Cristian Voican in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cristian Voican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Voican having to interfere. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristian Voican came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 91st minute. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.C. Milan throughout the match.
