Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Holger Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea De Toro took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Holger Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea De Toro might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrea De Toro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea De Toro in the 31st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea De Toro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea De Toro. In the 37th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Holger Mattsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 43rd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Holger Mattsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Hummerfiskarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Queirós made a kick off. Holger Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 59th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Queirós in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hummerfiskarna's Bennvar Maradona was substituted for Rickard Malmström. In the 73rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 82 minutes of play, Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. The throw-in from Eliseo Cutri in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hummerfiskarna's Bennvar Maradona. Adriano Curto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Holger Mattsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Curto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
