Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Mikeldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Churriaca's Luisito Lico got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edelmiro Mikeldi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Churriaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Mikeldi couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Lico in the 10th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Mikeldi in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when Churriaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Sang Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Luisito Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Churriaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Lico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Churriaca's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Tulio came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Churriaca getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cayetano Richie hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luisito Lico in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Tulio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peng Sang Yuan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Peng Sang Yuan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Lico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Tulio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Sachs came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baldomero Tulio could save by the left post. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Churriaca's Baldomero Tulio got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomero Tulio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 65th minute. Luisito Lico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Lico in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 81 minutes of play, Churriaca's Edelmiro Mikeldi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Tulio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 83rd minute. After 86 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Luisito Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Baldomero Tulio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Churriaca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Lico in the 95th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Churriaca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
