Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Krišjānis Ābeļnieks got the match started through his kick off. Barcelona de América were furious when Jaroslaw Filanowski was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Barcelona de América's Calisto Cean was substituted for Lorenzo Viergol. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Barcelona de América:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Romania:s goal. The referee gave Romania a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adam Olaru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros. 0-1. Gilmar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasvan Cristescu in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Krišjānis Ābeļnieks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carol Stinga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gilmar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasvan Cristescu in the 24th minute of the match. Gilmar Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costica Vladimiri went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gilmar Quadros came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Romania's Rasvan Cristescu. But to his dismay, Rasvan Cristescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carol Stinga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Barcelona de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Gentenaar to maneuver through the defense. Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Rasvan Cristescu made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Quadros. Barcelona de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Pedro Velasco hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Olaru to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Zayvion Ispuzua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carol Stinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romania made a substitution. Anton Stinga replaced Adam Olaru. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Costica Vladimiri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romania's supporters rose to their feet, but Costica Vladimiri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilmar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Serban in the 64th minute of play. Costica Vladimiri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilmar Quadros firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros got control of the ball when Costica Vladimiri tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Barcelona de América got a freekick which was hit by Félix Torres. Romania made a substitution. Octavian Vaduva replaced Costica Vladimiri. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Félix Torres got a free kick in the 71st minute. Anton Stinga took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Quadros. Gilmar Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Gilmar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Octavian Vaduva sent off a good shot on target. Gilmar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavian Vaduva in the 80th minute. If Rasvan Cristescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayvion Ispuzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 87 minutes Romania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bradford Scalzo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bradford Scalzo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romania's Carol Stinga did a great save. Zayvion Ispuzua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carol Stinga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Vaduva came free, but Gilmar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romania played a much better game than Barcelona de América and deserved their victory. The Barcelona de América players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
