Sant Sabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Kochanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Molina. F.C. Sant Sabo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cheng Le Xing in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 20 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eugenio Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheng Le Xing.

If Bas Tuitert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mazuste Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sant Sabo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazuste Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Molina saved F.C. Sant Sabo from getting behind. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Eugenio Molina made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eugenio Molina. That made the score 0-1 after 65 minutes of play. After 68 played minutes F.C. Sant Sabo got a freekick which was hit by Celio Oton. Eugenio Molina made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Sant Sabo's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Molina came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, F.C. Sant Sabo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Eugenio Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Dagora kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.C. Sant Sabo.
