Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Croatia's Toni Mauzer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kerteminde Boldklub booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinko Stankovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eberhardt Osted came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Croatia's Toni Mauzer. But to his dismay, Toni Mauzer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Croatia's Toni Mauzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eberhardt Osted made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Damir Pongrac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhardt Osted having to interfere. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. Eberhardt Osted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 32nd minute of play. Eberhardt Osted came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Croatia's Toni Mauzer. But to his dismay, Toni Mauzer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Eduard Kostelac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niko Grønby to strike the kick off in the second half. Kerteminde Boldklub's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Dinko Stankovic scored to the left of an out of position Eberhardt Osted, making the score, 0-7. In the 56th minute Niko Grønby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvije Santek kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Niko Grønby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kerteminde Boldklub's zone, Eduard Kostelac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eberhardt Osted came out of the goal and Eduard Kostelac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerhard Guldager charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerhard Guldager the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Gerhard Guldager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Niko Grønby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerteminde Boldklub's Rudi Nelander. But to his dismay, Rudi Nelander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. After having played for 78 minutes, Martin Bosak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bosak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinko Stankovic got free with Eberhardt Osted in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Rudi Nelander made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-7. After 81 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bosak. After 82 played minutes, Kerteminde Boldklub's Haakon Haarbøl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilija Skugor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kerteminde Boldklub reached it. Eberhardt Osted made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 85th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Croatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
