In the 28th match minute, Bäckeby Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Bergström to maneuver through the defense. Ulrik Källberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulrik Källberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulrik Källberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Johannes Mickelsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ulvis Kreigers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulrik Källberg made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Inge Albäck however managed to control. Bäckeby Fotboll made a substitution. Johannes Jansson replaced Johannes Mickelsson. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Jansson struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bäckeby Fotboll. The supporters of Germany booed when Bäckeby Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Tommy Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 91st minute of play. Bäckeby Fotboll's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
