Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Luncaniță. Cornel Luncaniță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 12th minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Alefors's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijn Doctor in the 24th minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornel Luncaniță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Ekelund got free with Arnout Reekers in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bas Tuitert's late challenge caught a Segelbut IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bas Tuitert helped the player get up and apologised. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Christoffer Josefsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play forced Segelbut IF's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segelbut IF's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornel Luncaniță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Ekelund to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Munio in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Segelbut IF fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Segelbut IF's Marcelo Munio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cornel Luncaniță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ekelund in the 58th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cornel Luncaniță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alf Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Segelbut IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christoffer Josefsson in the 67th minute. Segelbut IF's Zhuang Jian Yi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cornel Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Segelbut IF's Alf Ekelund in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. Younis Abo Al Hasan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Segelbut IF made a substitution. Alfons Öberg replaced Alf Ekelund. After a rather tough play, Segelbut IF's Rickard Lind got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Younis Abo Al Hasan in the 80th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute Marcelo Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Anton Rudqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
