The Austral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Menendo Tella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Hurko having to make a save. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Damaso Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 21st minute of play. Clis Comas took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Austral FC's Damaso Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play. Trifon Ivanov made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Menendo Tella immediately put the ball in play. Damaso Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 33rd minute of the match. When Viriato Moura, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Damaso Hurko was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the game Eduardo Pirro made a throw-in which Menendo Tella played forward. If Faustino Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Faustino Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Austral FC defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Hurko. The Austral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Hurko should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 51st minute of play forced Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Portugal's Viriato Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Hurko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Damaso Hurko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Hurko having to interfere. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Valda in the 67th minute of play. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Augusto Valda hit a great ball. Damaso Hurko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Felipe Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Austral FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Felipinho Amorim scored to the left of an out of position Damaso Hurko, making the score, 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipinho Amorim in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Hurko saved Austral FC from getting behind. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Austral FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Daniel Pimentel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damaso Hurko quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Felipinho Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Hurko. Austral FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Moreira got free with Damaso Hurko in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Austral FC's Damaso Hurko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Austral FC from getting a goal against them. The Portugal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Austral FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
