Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Graciano Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Graciano Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Austral FC booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Augusto Valda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Austral FC's Augusto Valda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augusto Valda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. The throw-in from Felipe Barreto in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Austral FC's Augusto Valda. Austral FC's Augusto Valda got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Valda might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Valda ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Valda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Bastos in the 34th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Damaso Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Austral FC's Augusto Valda.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Valda was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nisio Iturmendi to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Goizeder Infante got a free kick in the 60th minute. Felipe Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damaso Hurko. Austral FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Moreira got free with Damaso Hurko in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Hurko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Felipinho Amorim could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Damaso Hurko however easily saved by the left post. 75 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Benito came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Benito went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Nisio Iturmendi made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Damaso Hurko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 83rd minute. Daniel Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. 91 minutes into the match, Felipinho Amorim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damaso Hurko, 2-2. Austral FC's Jerold Grijalba was substituted for Augusto Valda.
