Mads Glastrup hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Harold Hjelton. 14 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Nichlas Glastrup came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Hjelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Hjelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold Hjelton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Gregorius Mouning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. Harold Hjelton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harold Hjelton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichlas Glastrup in the 35th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Farsaebarca were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nichlas Glastrup took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Belgium's goalie and right to Nichlas Glastrup. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Belgium's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichlas Glastrup in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute AC Farsaebarca were awarded a corner. Nichlas Glastrup went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harold Hjelton. AC Farsaebarca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Harold Hjelton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piet Lewandowski in the 46th minute. After taking down the ball on AC Farsaebarca's corner Nichlas Glastrup fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Harold Hjelton in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Mads Glastrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harold Hjelton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Elias Steinmejer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, AC Farsaebarca's Harold Hjelton got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Harold Hjelton made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harold Hjelton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute Elias Steinmejer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harold Hjelton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harold Hjelton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Nichlas Glastrup came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
