After 2 minutes of play, Golden Team's Fabricio Gergori made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Wielgopolski in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Golden Team fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Golden Team's Maciej Wielgopolski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alexander Higgins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciej Wielgopolski in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Golden Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabit Kolaci to maneuver through the defense. Maciej Wielgopolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alexander Higgins made a huge save. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Wielgopolski in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Arttu Olkkonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Maciej Wielgopolski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins, 3-0. Fabricio Gergori received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexander Higgins came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabricio Gergori slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 25th minute. Alexander Higgins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Gergori in the 29th minute. But to his dismay, Robert McNeill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The wind increased when Maciej Wielgopolski made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arttu Olkkonen in the 53rd minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Team's Maciej Wielgopolski. But to his dismay, Maciej Wielgopolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Maciej Wielgopolski took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. In the 65th minute, Maciej Wielgopolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Maciej Wielgopolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. After 76 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Ashton Nelson. In the 79thth minute of the game Maciej Wielgopolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Ashton Nelson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arttu Olkkonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Wielgopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Wielgopolski in the 86th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Maciej Wielgopolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. Alexander Higgins didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Golden Team's Maciej Wielgopolski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 13-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Golden Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
