In the 15th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Walczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda got a free kick in the 17th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vihar Milev in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Walczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hieronim Walczyk saved FC LongeR from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Pitambar Qajaia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 33 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Hieronim Walczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC LongeR's Hieronim Walczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 36th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihar Milev in the 42nd minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Walczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vihar Milev was the one to do the kick off. Hieronim Walczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Vihar Milev took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hieronim Walczyk was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Felipe Barreto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Barreto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Faustino Almeida made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Pimentel however managed to control. FC LongeR's Radomil Cielencki got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Walczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Walczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Maurizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hieronim Walczyk made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Hieronim Walczyk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felipinho Amorim succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 91st playminute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
