Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Rutkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 7th minute of the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Sokol in the 9th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeusz Rutkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. David Eikelkamp took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Rutkowski. Tadeusz Rutkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lucjan Sokol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Hoffman. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Janusz Pusiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pusiak came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tytus Dylla during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Dylla to maneuver through the defense. 2kC Poznań made a substitution. Zbigniew Zaworski replaced Marek Buczko. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Tytus Dylla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Kees Mooiweer made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lars Meesters. 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute of play. Ulryk Merski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ulryk Merski came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the 2kC Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulryk Merski couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Veijo Väätäinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
