The corner led to Hungary's Vörös Henrik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Emilio Rizzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duri come il marmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Rizzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Cosimo Finocchio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Cosimo Finocchio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Cosimo Finocchio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duri come il marmo. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Duri come il marmo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emiliano Polito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when Duri come il marmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mary Cau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Polito was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Ludvig Rudkvist fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duri come il marmo's protests and gave Ludvig Rudkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Fabiano Natale got a free kick in the 35th minute. Emiliano Polito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Duri come il marmo's Ludvig Rudkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Emilio Rizzo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Polito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute of the match, Major Barna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano Polito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Cosimo Finocchio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Cosimo Finocchio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Polito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 75th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Polito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Duri come il marmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Presutti didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Emilio Rizzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emilio Rizzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th play minute Major Barna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Polito. 2-3. The Duri come il marmo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
