Sindo Porregimon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frits Berendt in the 4th minute. Frits Berendt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Sindo Porregimon made a huge save. Ermengol Alberete took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Lira. Edinho Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 44 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Alberete came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermengol Alberete made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 51st minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edinho Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Intxixu Huarte's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Intxixu Huarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Intxixu Huarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Lira was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Socavon FC were awarded a corner. Fehmi Erdemer went to the cornerflag to take it. Edinho Lira was a little too slow when Manilan Elizalde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-5. Edinho Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intxixu Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Intxixu Huarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socavon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Intxixu Huarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Socavon FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INTER FC.
