After 7 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Leme. 13 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goalkeeper Edinho Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazario Ronaldo. The supporters of Manzano FC booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Nazario Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manzano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Bebeto Lucas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frits Berendt in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Rocendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Berendt came free, but Julian Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manzano FC's Antonio Manex got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gugu Campidelis hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Manex to make the kick off. INTER FC's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Obano in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the game, Nazario Ronaldo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Bebeto Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bebeto Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Edinho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Rolado in the 60th minute of play. Julian Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Frits Berendt sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute INTER FC were awarded a corner. Emerson Cruz went to the cornerflag to take it. Bebeto Lucas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in INTER FC's zone, Antonio Manex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Lira came out of the goal and Antonio Manex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTER FC made a substitution. Luís Ferreira replaced Frits Berendt. Julian Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Léo Trigo got a free kick in the 74th minute. It was beautiful to see Manzano FC's Florín Friederichs in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Edinho Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Manex in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florín Friederichs came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Manzano FC's Julian Rocendo got control of the ball when Germano Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. INTER FC's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Rolado in the 88th minute of play. Julian Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Germano Luz sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Manzano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Luz came free, but Julian Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edinho Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Luz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Julian Rocendo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manzano FC fully deserved thier win.
