An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Pabla in the 4th minute of play forced ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s Jose Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Pabla in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Victorio Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorio Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Victorio Pabla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POPULAR F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute, Mei Xun Jun made a precise shot to the right of Jose Nuñez. ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Steve Burmeisters short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Pancracio Paniagua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pancracio Paniagua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ferran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Pabla in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jose Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Camilo Ferran made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. POPULAR F.C's Pancracio Paniagua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Burmeister in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pancracio Paniagua saved POPULAR F.C from getting behind. Pancracio Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ferran in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Ferran. POPULAR F.C's Maicon de Godoi was substituted for Léo Gonçalves. After 68 played minutes ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Ferran. After 70 played minutes POPULAR F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Carvalho. The supporters of ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ booed when POPULAR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Nuñez came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by POPULAR F.C's Victorio Pabla. But to his dismay, Victorio Pabla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Costin Ivasiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Victorio Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Rafe to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄'s goalkeeper Jose Nuñez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorio Pabla took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Nuñez. Jose Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Costin Ivasiuc with Marco Egun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon de Godoi got free with Jose Nuñez in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes, Steve Burmeister mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ► EL GRAN DOGO ◄ and the POPULAR F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steve Burmeister hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The POPULAR F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
