Gavino Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Renan Guerreiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alberto Erlantz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julianda Saputra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Erlantz having to interfere. The Charmander City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Real Espartillar were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Guerreiro to make the kick off.
