The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paolo-César Maldini the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vörös Ördögök FCD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo-César Maldini had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Vörös Ördögök FCD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alianza Trujillo:s goal. In the 24th minute Obano Mezcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Singgih Zudika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Xandro Valdovinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Singgih Zudika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obano Mezcano in the 88th minute of play. Singgih Zudika made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Obano Mezcano sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Brandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tami Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
