Kristian Månsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atabek Aynacı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute Hadi Cabir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørn Brandvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jørn Brandvold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see BionChes FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
