Oliver Smit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jørn Brandvold. Quitauna F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pieter Wilhelm kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jørn Brandvold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsten Bont, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Niels Rooy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jørn Brandvold was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Carsten Bont left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Maquis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Carsten Bont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jørn Brandvold made a huge save. The supporters of The Maquis booed when Quitauna F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Smit, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Quitauna F.C's goalkeeper Jørn Brandvold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pieter Wilhelm. Jørn Brandvold was a little too slow when Pieter Wilhelm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 80th minute, The Maquis's Niels Rooy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jørn Brandvold. Jørn Brandvold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After 83 played minutes The Maquis got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Smit. In the 86th minute, Gugu dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niels Rooy got free with Jørn Brandvold in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jørn Brandvold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco Walregt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 96 minute of play. The Maquis played a much better game than Quitauna F.C and deserved their victory. The Quitauna F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
