The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CACYFA's Luis Quirce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 38th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Dragões Barbudos FC's Celestino Acevedo got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute Alfredo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led CACYFA's Romeo Sanduru to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Chaves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Chaves made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gaspar Dunixi sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Emeterio came free, but Daniel Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Emeterio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Chaves came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Emeterio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 92nd minute. Dragões Barbudos FC's Idalécio Baldaia got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
