Adolfo Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Joaquim Fernandes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CACYFA's Luis Quirce. Luis Quirce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia in the 16th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Idalécio Baldaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CACYFA's Luis Quirce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Idalécio Baldaia in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Czornomaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Dragões Barbudos FC were awarded a corner. Umberto Pereira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dragões Barbudos FC's corner Umberto Pereira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luis Quirce quite easily take care of the ball. Hugo Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Romeo Sanduru came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the CACYFA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Sanduru couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Sanduru. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões Barbudos FC's zone, Adrian Czornomaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Chaves came out of the goal and Adrian Czornomaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Idalécio Baldaia in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Quirce saved CACYFA from getting behind. When Dragões Barbudos FC's Idalécio Baldaia in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CACYFA's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Daniel Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Czornomaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Idalécio Baldaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Quirce was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When Thomas Semeloglou came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Dragões Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Semeloglou couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Czornomaz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CACYFA's Safet Jovanović got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dragões Barbudos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave CACYFA a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Sanduru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves. 1-1. Luis Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Pedro Augusto Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, CACYFA's Luis Quirce got control of the ball when Joaquim Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragões Barbudos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Umberto Pereira in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Dragões Barbudos FC's corner Umberto Pereira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luis Quirce quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Chaves came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by CACYFA's Adrian Czornomaz. But to his dismay, Adrian Czornomaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. CACYFA made a substitution. Gaspar Dunixi replaced Safet Jovanović. Joaquim Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Luis Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Daniel Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Pedro Augusto Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Dunixi came free, but Daniel Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Angelino Chico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chaves. Dragões Barbudos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Chico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Daniel Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Joaquim Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Quirce having to interfere. Joaquim Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CACYFA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dragões Barbudos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
