Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Peletier took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, União São José FC's Cláudio Loyola got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União São José FC's Lauro da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lauro da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Peletier's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Lauro da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lauro da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Cláudio Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro da Silveira. Lauro da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lauro da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes União São José FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Meirelles. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. União São José FC's Lauro da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 40th minute of play. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of Lauro da Silveira. União São José FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The União São José FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. France were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luiz Corrêa to make the kick off. Pedro Luiz Corrêa, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Cláudio Loyola notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remy Dupuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lauro da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Frank Peletier put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lauro da Silveira. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Lauro da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Barbier made a great header on France's corner, it was just that União São José FC's Lauro da Silveira managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, União São José FC's Lauro da Silveira got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro da Silveira. Frank Peletier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Cláudio Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lauro da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind União São José FC's goalkeeper Lauro da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauro da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Remy Dupuy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
