Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gianluca Pagliuca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of play. In the last second Arnout Reekers throw himself and got hold of the ball when Oliver Bierhoff in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 38 minutes into the match, Ramiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Gianluca Pagliuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro FC made a substitution. Aca Peroba replaced Gilberto Playo. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match Gervasio Locaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 68th minute of play. 魏荣 kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ramiro FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
