In the 3rd minute, Ziemowit Chmielecki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tymoteusz Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Wieslaw Ratulowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of Active ZDW booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymoteusz Sanocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Chmielecki in the 29th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Wieslaw Ratulowski sent off a good shot on target. Tymoteusz Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Active ZDW's Tymoteusz Sanocki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tymoteusz Sanocki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 43rd minute.

Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Active ZDW made a substitution. Iphikles Pintzopoulos replaced Iwo Mleczewski. 72 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Ratulowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Akamas Giannacopulos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Drugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Drugi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Waclaw Lamczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
