Vivaldo Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiso Posse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiso Posse got free with Tommy Kahn in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute GynBsb were awarded a corner. Filipe Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 26thth minute of the game Vivaldo Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of GynBsb booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Tiso Posse suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. GynBsb's Geovanni Arósio was substituted for Tiso Posse. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GynBsb getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Geovanni Arósio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Fernandes in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Arósio came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, GynBsb's Vivaldo Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, GynBsb's Frederico Bertassi got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line.
